Cow Stream Hot Pools
Cow Stream Hot Pools is a small thermal spring located in St James Conservation Area. It’s one of a number of hot pools located in the northern reaches of Canterbury with others being found in Lake Sumner Forest Park. This is really extra for experts with good backcountry experience and travelling in a group.

Awakeri Hot Springs
Both holiday park guests and the general public can take a dip in the Awakeri thermal hot pools. The large outdoor hot pool and private spas are all filled with natural mineral water of around 38 degrees Celsius.
Athenree Hot Springs
The pure thermal water feels silky and soft on the skin and is perfect for relaxing in. There is a continuous flow of spring water in the pools creating bubbles to help soothe away any aches.
