Yoga classes in the beautiful Auckland Art Gallery

Art and yoga know no boundaries in the quest for self-knowledge. The deeper the exploration, the more rewarding the experiences can become. These hour-long Hatha yoga classes include warm-up stretching, building to stronger poses, including flow balance and breath focus. Warming down will lead into breath practice, ending with a brief relaxation or meditation.

The practice is all inclusive: beginners as well as more experienced yogis are welcome, of any shape, size or fitness level. It is a safe, non-competitive environment and in the most aesthetically inspiring settings, with the aim of improving balance, flexibility, strength and an opportunity for quiet reflection or mindfulness. Condition of participation: please do not register or attend if you currently have any medical conditions, health issues (including injuries, surgeries) or illnesses that could affect your ability to undertake this class safely.

Matariki 2023

Nationwide
Observed 14/07/23

Matariki is a time where people, whānau, and communities gather together to remember the year that has passed, to celebrate the present, and to plan for the next year. It is a time to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us, to feast and celebrate with our relatives and friends, and to look towards the future and the hope of a season full of bounty.
