Napier Menzshed
Napier Menzshed is one of thousands of similar mens sheds that have sprung up around the world. They are part of "Menz shed New Zealand". The Napier shed, in Hawkes Bay, is well equipped with tools and machinary to tackle most projects. In a sense, it is a health initiative for retired men, a step away from isolation and into the camaraderie of a shared project and community appreciation.

Seasons Art Classes Nelson/Tasman
Art Classes over 13 weeks catering for adult learners, ideal for either absolute beginners and also more advanced artists who use a more challenging curriculum to stretch their skills, inspire them or 'get their mojo back' after a break. Art like so many things is a lovely topic with 'layers' to inspire and delve into. Riversdale Arts
Riversdale Arts Inc are a group of enthusiastic art lovers based in rural Southland, who annually produce a stunning Mixed Media Exhibition which runs over a 10 day period. The group aims to facilitate, promote, educate and foster support for the arts in all their various forms. The annual exhibition is an important part of achieving this goal. Each year, a visual feast of outstanding artwork is stylishly displayed to its best advantage, producing a sophisticated, classy exhibition to rival any in the larger centres. The Armarie Room
Renee Hadlow of the Armarie Room is a passionate maker. Be inspired by looking at her work and consider a course with this master. The Armarie Room is the only place in New Zealand where you can see letterpress equipment operating in a contemporary art and design business. Located in Founders Heritage Park. Set within character buildings and displays of Nelson’s heritage, the park hosts a wide range of artists and creative businesses. Screen Printing course is held at Te Pukenga NMIT.

HeART Space Studio
Jade Adams opened Heart Space Studio in Commerce Street in Whakatāne's Town Centre and offers kids art classes, school holiday programmes as well as a diverse range of workshops for all ages. Like super fun paint and sips, workshops for tie-dyeing, collage, painting, yoga and more, run for the community. The studio is a space for local events to be held with the studio available to hire. There is also a selection of locally made items from talented creatives.
Tahan Art Studio
Tahan Art Studio prides itself on its excellent customer service, group and individual art classes and workshops. It has been established for nearly 40 years by the multi award winner artist Mehrdad Tahan, who has presented a high level of quality commissioned paintings, as well as conducting art tuition for beginners to advanced students in Iran, Sweden, and New Zealand. Tahan has been featured in various publications, including ‘Concise Dictionary of New Zealand artists' and art magazines.

Kumeu Arts
Kumeu Arts is a buzzing community arts centre, not for profit incorporated society and registered charity that offers classes, untutored groups, events, workshops, festivals and exhibitions. Exhibitions are always free to visit and both galleries are wheelchair accessible. The building (located behind Kumeu Library) was once an Auckland Council works depot, but has since been transformed into a fully functioning, fit for purpose arts centre with two galleries and a gift shop selling art and crafts made by local artisans.
Franklin Arts Centre
Have you booked a place in one of their programmes yet? So many courses and exhibitions - for example, learn to make your own polymer clay earrings with jewellery maker Vanessa Fong from Dewdrops. Enjoy a fun and relaxing 3 hour hands-on experience with all materials provided. By the end of the workshop you will get to take home 3-6 pairs of earrings.
