The climbs on the climbing wall are graded from 12 to 25 and are changed regularly so the challenge never ends, even for advanced climbers! Top rope and lead climbing are available, while they also have a bouldering section along the bottom of our wall for low level climbing – ideal for those who don’t want to go too high but still want to give climbing a go. A series of practical workshops for Rongoā Māori - Traditional Māori Medicine. Workshops are taught in the bush in a supportive and encouraging environment for both Māori and non-Māori participants. All workshops are run over a weekend and are held in the ngahere (forest). The aim is to teach people how to identify the plants used for rongoā, where to find them, and how to collect them and the tikanga (customs) that must be followed.
