Play Stay Explore

From kayak trips to bike trails, gear hire to accommodation, with Riverside Adventures you can mix and match to your heart’s content. Daytime canyon kayak tours are relaxing family friendly adventures where you paddle slowly up the Pokaiwhenua Stream, through the spectacular canyon that has been carved out by water over hundreds of years, and over the submerged Horahora village. Or there are magical twilight tours where starting late afternoon or early evening, you will enjoy spectacular sights that you can only experience by kayak. Paddle slowly through the Pokaiwhenua canyon and when darkness falls, be guided by the magical titiwai – New Zealand glowworms – on either side. Check out the lovely bike tours as well.
