The Museum is dedicated to increase awareness and knowledge of Poland’s history, achievements and contributions to the world, and to remember the 733 children and 102 adults who arrived to NZ during WW2 in 1944.

Open to the public, both for individual visitors and group bookings. The museum is also an excellent educational resource for schools. All groups warmly welcomed. Costumes, tapestries and embroidery, Wycinanki paper cut-outs, wooden plates and objects. Wycinanki or paper cut-outs workshops available. A beautiful way to craft and connect. All year round. Rongoā Māori

A series of practical workshops for Rongoā Māori - Traditional Māori Medicine. Workshops are taught in the bush in a supportive and encouraging environment for both Māori and non-Māori participants. All workshops are run over a weekend and are held in the ngahere (forest). The aim is to teach people how to identify the plants used for rongoā, where to find them, and how to collect them and the tikanga (customs) that must be followed.
