ParaFed Canterbury

All year round

Focusing on people with physical or visual impairments, the team offers a variety of programmes and services to members including Para sports programmes, adaptive equipment, sports wheelchairs and children’s after-school programmes.

In addition, there are a number of non-sports based programmes such as hydrotherapy pool sessions and a taxi fare discounts programme. If you have always wanted to be involved in sport, but have been unsure where to start, then they are here to help you. ParaFed Canterbury and the Canterbury region has a proud history of providing athletes to the New Zealand Paralympic Games Teams.
