Kaikōura Kayaks

Canterbury, Kaikōura
All year round

Whether you want to paddle with the marine life, go kayak fishing, hire your own kayak or upskill your paddling through the kayak school, it’s all here!

Experience the excitement of watching seals ducking, weaving and diving around your kayak. Chance encounters with dolphins, penguins and albatross! If you want more family friendly, try a family tour, with lower guide to client ratios and highly stable sea kayaks. These allow children to safely enjoy a kayaking experience with an adult paddling right behind them. For something really special in summer, what about a sunset evening classic tour – guaranteed viewing of fur seals with surreal visuals of the seaward Kaikōura Mountains as the light changes towards the end of the day.
