Ceroc Rotorua

Rotorua
Tues

Meet new people and enjoy a night out on Tuesdays

Ceroc Dance – Modern Jive is a social partner dance generally done to chart toppers and old favorites. Dance at parties, pubs, nightclubs, weddings; just about anywhere!

Ceroc is likened to a fusion of salsa and jive but also draws on Latin, ballroom and swing influences, and does not have complicated footwork. Come find out why Tuesday social dance classes for adults are so enjoyable. Starts at 7pm with the starter intro class, then at 7.30pm the beginners jump in. Everyone joins in at 8pm for social dancing. Follow on Facebook for events and happenings. What a fun bunch.

A series of practical workshops for Rongoā Māori - Traditional Māori Medicine. Workshops are taught in the bush in a supportive and encouraging environment for both Māori and non-Māori participants. All workshops are run over a weekend and are held in the ngahere (forest). The aim is to teach people how to identify the plants used for rongoā, where to find them, and how to collect them and the tikanga (customs) that must be followed.
