The Pilates Method integrates breathing, flexibility, strength, precision, control and body awareness
Engaging the body and mind, these exercises are performed on 6 major pieces of apparatus, several smaller ones and the mat. There are countless benefits to using the Pilates Method. Increasing strength in all muscle groups, improving flexibility and posture, rehabilitation for lower back and neck problems, improving stability and balance, optimising breathing, reducing stress and the overall reshaping of your body are just a few.
All studio classes / sessions are 50-55 minutes, taught by experienced certified Pilates instructors using the authentic classical method and Gratz apparatus. Both private and ACC funded physiotherapy is offered for injuries. Thorough assessment and treatment by Katie Agnew BHSc (Physiotherapy) is done to evaluate your needs. An ACC form can be filled out onsite at clinic without a doctor’s referral.
