Connect with nature and enjoy the tranquility of sea kayaking

While touring by sea kayak you will experience the massive scale of the landscape that surrounds you! Close encounters. No noise, no engines, no crowds, no pollution. Friendly, experienced guides. Small group numbers are key as you are visiting fragile, pristine, and relatively undisturbed natural areas. Put your mind at ease, knowing you are exploring this marine reserve in a low-impact and environmentally responsible way. Take in the views of towering sea cliffs, learn about the volcanic rock formations, witness live blow holes, explore caves and remote untouched areas only accessible by boat. Your friendly guide knows what weather signs to look for, is trained in rescue techniques and knows the best locations to spot marine activity. They will ensure that you get the most out of your experience in a relaxed, safe and enjoyable way. During the trip, they will be explaining and answering any questions that you may have and pointing out highlights you would never know existed on your own!

Matariki 2023

Observed 14/07/23

Matariki is a time where people, whānau, and communities gather together to remember the year that has passed, to celebrate the present, and to plan for the next year. It is a time to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us, to feast and celebrate with our relatives and friends, and to look towards the future and the hope of a season full of bounty.
