Marvel at the power of steam

Steam Scene operates thanks to its volunteers. They run an open day on the 1st Sunday of every month, or can also be hired for events. The annual ‘Steam Extravaganza’ is held in April. It runs for two days over a weekend and has everything from steam driven shearing shed to full scale sawmill, threshing and chaff cutting, stone crushing and plenty more all power by steam technology. It is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to see steam in all its glory.
