Sit Down In Front

Gisborne, Online

Gisborne punk band ‘Sit Down In Front’ formed in January 2017. Charismatic frontman and songwriter Cory Newman’s energetic live performances have been likened to a young Johnny Rotten.

They released their third EP ‘Fuelling my Rage’ in January, 2022 and are hoping to get back on the touring circuit soon. Listen to the band on Spotify and check for live gigs on Facebook and Instagram. Their collaboration with Tiki Taane ‘Pixie Caramel’ is a fast and upbeat punk rock anthem. And they’re still in high school!

Matariki 2024

Observed 29/06/24

Matariki is a time where people, whānau, and communities gather together to remember the year that has passed, to celebrate the present, and to plan for the next year. It is a time to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us, to feast and celebrate with our relatives and friends, and to look towards the future and the hope of a season full of bounty.
