Gisborne punk band ‘Sit Down In Front’ formed in January 2017. Charismatic frontman and songwriter Cory Newman’s energetic live performances have been likened to a young Johnny Rotten.

They released their third EP ‘Fuelling my Rage’ in January, 2022 and are hoping to get back on the touring circuit soon. Listen to the band on Spotify and check for live gigs on Facebook and Instagram. Their collaboration with Tiki Taane ‘Pixie Caramel’ is a fast and upbeat punk rock anthem. A series of practical workshops for Rongoā Māori - Traditional Māori Medicine. Workshops are taught in the bush in a supportive and encouraging environment for both Māori and non-Māori participants. All workshops are run over a weekend and are held in the ngahere (forest).
