All year round

The Marlborough community’s “go-to hub” for courses and support for the education of our rural (and often very isolated) residents and also those who reside in and nearer to Blenheim, Renwick, and Picton, their larger communities.

REAP Marlborough was established in 1979. Sign language, Te Reo, First Aid, espresso brewing, basic mechanics skills courses and more. If you think of a course topic that they are not currently offering, please contact them as they would love to help. Connect with them on social media to keep up to date.

Occasional

A series of practical workshops for Rongoā Māori - Traditional Māori Medicine. Workshops are taught in the bush in a supportive and encouraging environment for both Māori and non-Māori participants. All workshops are run over a weekend and are held in the ngahere (forest). The aim is to teach people how to identify the plants used for rongoā, where to find them, and how to collect them and the tikanga (customs) that must be followed.
