DFS want you to feel your best while job searching and in the first few weeks of employment.

Once you’ve scheduled an interview, obtain a referral to visit your local Dress for Success boutique. Volunteers will work with you to help you choose an interview outfit and will also provide guidance and support for the upcoming interview. Self referrals are accepted however if you are a client who is on a benefit, please go to your WINZ case manager for them to refer you on to Dress for Success. The reason for this is that Dress for Success can then get funding from WINZ for you.

Having completed the crucial first step of securing employment, women participating in the next programme will focus on retaining their jobs and developing their confidence and professional skills. The goal is to ensure each woman is moving towards a meaningful and sustainable career, as well as financial independence.
