The high-volume Kawarau River is guaranteed to burst out the adrenaline. This trip will challenge your nerves from start to finish. Conquer grade 2-3 rapids and become King or Queen of the River, riding the rapids on a bodyboard. Enjoy surfing standing waves, riding whirlpools and eddy lines, as well as catching some underwater currents if you are brave enough.
Participants are required to demonstrate confidence in water and basic swimming skills. Minimum age is 8 years old for river surfing and drifting, while 12 years of age for sledging.
